Membership Referral Spring Program
Effective March 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025
Refer A Member - Get Rewarded. Earn a $500.00 F&B Credit* for Sponsoring Member(s) incentive for sponsoring during our Membership Referral Spring Program (valid March 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025). Limited to 5 total submitted applicants for membership per sponsor during this promotion period. All applicants will be presented to the Stockholding Resident members for comment, reviewed by the New Members Committee, before being submitted for approval by the BOG. Subject to approval, a Member Welcome Packet will be sent to the applicant. Also, upon approval, and sponsored new Member has been in good standing for 3 months (90-days), each Sponsoring Member will be sent a *$500.00 Food and Beverage Gift Certificate for the Club (Must be redeemed within 1-year of Issue - Cannot be applied to monthly dues.).

Dear City Club Member,
We rely on referrals from our members. As a Member of a private club, there is no greater honor than having the ability to invite your friends and family to join you in Membership. We encourage you to help us grow our community by referring individuals who, like you, are seeking to forge meaningful connections and enjoy an exceptional private club experience. Your referrals are invaluable, and with your assistance, we can continue to enhance the vibrancy and diversity of our organization. Your active participation is what makes our community thrive, and we look forward to your continued support. All memberships will require an Initiation Fee incurred upon acceptance of the membership by the BOG, no portion of such fees is refundable or transferable. Initiation fees are not prorated. Plus, a required monthly Capital Preservation fee: $ 35.00.

- To determine which Membership option is preferred, please see the Prospective Membership Packet.
- Fill out, and return the co-signed Membership Proposal and include recent photo(s) directly back to the Membership Director.
- Except in the case of an applicant for Young Professional membership, prospective members must be sponsored by TWO Stockholder Members in good standing (two signatures are required) and complete a Proposal for Membership form. Only one (1) of the two (2) sponsors may be (i) a current member of the Board of Governors; (ii) a relative, whether by blood or marriage, of the applicant; or (iii) a business or professional associate of the applicant.
- The sponsors shall also provide individual, signed written statements or a joint written statement signed by each sponsor, that (1) describes the nature of his or her relationship with the candidate, (2) includes an attestation that the character and integrity of the candidate matches that expected of a City Club member, and has a reputation of financial responsibility. Letters of recommendation further expounding upon the candidates’ qualifications or bringing other matters as are appropriate to bring to the attention of the Board of Governors are encouraged.
- If an applicant is a resident of the Greater Baton Rouge Area for one year or less and a member in good standing in a reciprocal club, a letter of recommendation from that club may be substituted for Stockholder Member sponsorship; provided however that a membership that has been approved on the basis of such a reciprocal club letter of recommendation shall be considered provisional for a term of one year and shall afford no voting rights during the provisional period.
- In the case of an applicant for Young Professional membership, either (a) two (2) Stockholder Members in good standing or (b) one (1) Stockholder Member and one (1) Young Professional Member, both in good standing, are required for sponsorship. In all other respects, the requirements for membership shall be the same as set forth in the preceding paragraph.
- Include a recent photo so that we can include this in our point of sale system, which allows our waiters to become familiar with you as quickly as possible.
- The process is once the completed signed applications submitted each month to the Membership Director, then will be presented to the New Members Committee, which shall review the application for compliance, the candidate's name and business affiliation, if any, shall be provided by email or other method to all Stockholder Members for comment prior to being submitted for approval by the Board of Governors. Once approved, each applicant will be contacted directly by the Membership Director, and a Member Welcome Packet will be sent to the applicant. •
- Board of Governors meetings are held monthly at which a quorum is present and voting.
